Everyone (young & old) is invited to our annual “Trunk or Treat” event Oct. 29. Children 6th grade & under are encouraged to wear a costume (use good judgment in selecting appropriate costumes) and gather treats. The rest of us can come, park our car, and pass out treats from our trunks (you can decorate if you like). The parade of treats will start at 5:00 pm, but if you are decorating your trunk, you will want to come earlier. Following the parade, around 6:00 or 6:30 pm, in lieu of a 5th Sunday potluck, the elders will be providing dinner with hot dogs, chips, dessert and drinks for all to enjoy. There is a sign-up sheet on kiosk, so we know how much food to get. The teens also (for a service project) will be having games in the gym for the kids to play during dinner. Come and enjoy a time of fellowship with our children and each other. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Hawkins, 303-506-5183.
